2012 reporter 
Earthquake in Toronto, Ontario, Canada today striking 5.0 on the Richter Scale- it seems the epicenter is Ottawa according to the National Post at around 1:45pm or so and anywhere from 1min to 20 sec- depending on where you live, you felt it as it ricocheted out.
Starting in Ottawa, it was felt more than 50 kms north of Toronto; Southern Ontario, Quebec, Windsor and even Boston also feeling the tremors.
Buildings were being evacuated – since Toronto is a mixture of very old and very new buildings, the oldest, highest buildings are at risk for seizemic activity.
We felt it too! At first we thought it was industry concrete plant beside us, or the auto plant. Where were you when it happened?
