The Planet X Theory is one of the more feared theories concerning 2012, not only because this doomsday scenario is the most destructive of all, but because it can imminently happen. If the Planet X scenario occurs, the whole world could be obliterated in an instant, unlike other doomsday scenarios (wars, nuclear cataclysms, earthquakes) which are projected to affect humanity in a rather slower pace. But what is Planet X? Why is it feared? Why are the scientists looking for it? This article clues you in to all that and more…
What is Planet X?
When an orbital discrepancy was discovered between the gas giants Neptune and Uranus, there was considerable speculation that another planet, possibly larger than those two planets, existed somewhere out there. Planet X became the tentative name of this object that remains to be seen. Only the gravity of an unseen planet could have perturbed Uranus’ orbit, according to Percival Lowell, the first Planet X proponent. Pluto was discovered soon thereafter and for a while Pluto was considered this Planet X. After a few observations, however, that Pluto was not massive enough to account for an orbital anomaly. So the search for the Planet X proceeded until the better half of the 19th century.
Up to today, Planet X is not yet located, according to astronomical authority NASA. What everybody fears is that NASA is not telling the truth. Proponents of the Planet X theory believe that the unknown planet is indeed coming, and is heading right towards us at such a crazy pace.
Why search for Planet X?
Aside from the discrepancies, there was a far more profound reason why this Planet X was needed to be found immediately – if it can create a discrepancy on larger planets, how much more if it went near our planet Earth? The damage it can cause was deemed to be insurmountable. What’s even more startling about it is that, it may be possible that Planet X already made collision with our planet millions of years ago, and it’s another cycle waiting to happen again. There have been countless articles and research that holds a massive asteroid-like object accountable for the extinction of dinosaurs and for the several ice ages that occurred in the past. If Planet X is real, could it be possible that its orbit crosses Earth’s own orbit at some point, which is the perfect setup for a collision?
The Sumerian Account of Planet X and 2012
The modern Planet X concept is deeply associated with Nibiru, a planet that is supposed to be described in ancient Babylonian texts. Nibiru is said to pass by our planet every 3,600 years, enabling us to encounter the sentient beings inhabiting the said planet. Nancy Lieder, one of the major proponents of Planet X, says that these beings are called Zetas, and they have scheduled Earth’s destruction on December 21, 2012 due to the deterioration of mankind’s values which can be potentially dangerous for the planet itself.
The Truth
While it is claimed that there is no scientific evidence for Planet X or its existence, and is even passed off as mere pseudoscience by astronomers, the threat of space is still real and should be feared, for it can happen anytime, and when it does, we will not be able to do something about it. Whether Planet X or Nibiru is true or not, we can’t really stop a projectile if its trajectory unfortunately passes through our planet. Today, the search continues for Planet X. Scientists are subconsciously doing this, for they recognize a very strong mysterious force that lies beyond Pluto.
